How can I know Jesus?

It’s as easy as ABC!

ADMIT you need help (you are a sinner):

Romans 3:10 “As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one.”

Romans 3:23: “For ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”

Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

BELIEVE that Jesus is the only Saviour:

Romans 5:8  “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

John 14:6 “Jesus said unto them, I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

CONFESS your sin and receive Jesus as your Saviour:

Romans 10:9-10, 13  “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

You are now ready to pray and ask Jesus into your heart.

The following is merely a guideline for this sincere step of faith:

“Heavenly Father, I recognize that I am a sinner because I have rebelled against my Creator.  I understand that sin demands punishment from a holy and righteous God.  I believe in the sacrificial death and resurrection of Your Son Jesus Christ and I want to receive the forgiveness you have made freely available to me through this sacrifice.  I want to turn away from my sin and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and nothing else to save me from my sin.  Come into my life now, Lord.  Take up residence in my heart and be my king, my Lord, and my Saviour.  I ask this in Jesus’ precious and holy name. Amen.”

John 10:27-30  “My sheep hear my voice and I know them, and they follow me: and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.  My Father which gave them me, is greater than all, and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand, I and my Father are one.”
